The deceased was .'assisting to crosscut a log lying on the face of a hill. When: the log was partly cut through a portion broke off, crushing Brawn, and dragging^ him with it. The unfortunate inanV legs, an arm, and the neck were broken. Deceased leaves a widow and one child. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, no blame being attachable to anyone.
