(By Golfer.) To-morrow a men's singles handicap stroke competition .will be played. This will be an extra match ana entries will be received on the links up to 2 : p.m. On Saturday, 2nd October, the season will close with a mixed foursomes, which will also be an extra match. If sufficient entries are received there will be a first and second prize; Entries close on Saturday, 25th. It seems a pity the* season is just on closing, as the course, and. greens particularly, are looking splendid, some of the latter being very: fast. Some good j I rounds have been put up during the! week by several players. J.
