FOUND SHOT DEAD.
•SUPPOSED SUICIDE BY AN EXPUBLICAN. (United Pubss Association.) CHBLSTCHURCH,. Friday, The dead hody of a man was found today on the New Brighton beach with bullet wound through the right temple. It turned out to be the body of Samuel Wheeler Burkett, a retired publican, who had been living with his wife and family at Linwood. Burkett left home at 10 a.m. yesterday, and was last seen at the New Brighton Hotel last evening, where he had a few glasses of beer. There was no trace of a revolver, but there were five cartridges in the pocket.
