RASH CHARGE AGAINST AN AUCTIONEER.
(United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednes. A private prosecution against J. C. Arbuckle, auctioneer, for a charge of failing to account for the , proceeds of goods sold, was withdrawn at the -Magistrate's Court to-day,' the money having been paid. The Magistrate commented on the seriousness of instituting proceedings without making the fullest inquiries.
