THE. LOSS OF THE SLAVONIA.
A STEAMER -RUN' DOWN. (Received Sept. 13, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sunday. The Board of Trade inquiry finds that the loss of the Slavonia was due to default and error of judgment on the part of the master. An" unknown steamer ran' down the Notre-Dame'd'Arvor,"bound for Hobart." The vessel's hold was flooded,' and-80 "'tons of cement we're jettisoned, and the Notre Dame d'Arvor <was towed to Falmouth.
