FOUND DROWNED.
(United Peess Association.) GORE, Monday. An old age pensioner, named William Stokes, aged 73 years, was found drowned in Winding Creek, Waikaia, last evening. STRATFORD, Monday. • A child named Clarence Johns 'Petersen, aged eighteen months, was found drowned in tho creek at Kiore on .Saturday afternoon. At the inquest yesterday a verdict of accidental drowning was returned. — ' — - -■'-
