ELECTION OF SCHOOL j COMMITTEES. i i IJS T .accordance witb tho provision;, of "The Education Act. 1908," It is hereby publicly notified that Meetings of Householders will be held in each of the School Districts within the Education District of Nelson, at 8 p.m. on MONDAY, the 26th day of April, 1909, for the election of School Committees. Householders may fend, in writing, to the Chairman- of "tho* School "Committee of tlie District in which they reside, or (in the cases where there is no Committee) to tho Commissioner, to be delivered before 8 p.m. on Monday, the 19th April, 1909, the names of persons being resident householders nominated by them to serve on the School Committee for the year 1909-10. Each such nomination muEt be signed by the person nominated, and must be in the form of. or to the effect of the ninth schedule of the above-named Act. Nominations may also be made at the meetings of Householders as provided for in section 114 (1) of the Act. The meetings will be held in the respective school builldings unless otherwise stated. In tno following School Districts the Committees shall consist of FIVE resident householders, viz., Aorere (meeting in Ferntown School), Capleston, Central Buller (Fern Flat), Church Hill, Cronadun, Inangahua Junction, Kaituna, Kiwi, Little Grey, Long Plain, Ngatimoti, Orinoco, Pokororo, Rockville, Tadmor, East Takaka, and Tapawera. In the following School Districts the Committees fhal! consist of SEVEN resident householders, viz., Appleby (meeting in Appleby School), Bainham, H'rchficld, Black s Point, Brightwater (meeting in Brick School), Burnett's Face, Cape Foulwind, Charleston (meeting in Charleston School), Collingwood, Denniston, Dnvcdale, Foxhill, Granity Creek, Hope (meeting in Hope School), Karamea, Lyell, Millerton, Motueka, Motupiko, Motupipi, Lower Moutere. Upper Moutere. Murchison, Neidorf, PaimdUitara, Progress, Promised Land, Reefton, Richmond, Riwaka (meeting in Riwaka School), Seddonville, Spring Grove. Stanley Brook, Stoke, Suburban North, Summerlea. Central Takaka, Lwer Takaka, Waimea West, Lower Wakefield, Upper Wakefield aJid Waimangaroa. In the following School District* the Committees shall consist of NINE resident householders, viz., Nelson (meeting in Provincial Hall), and West, port AIDED SCHOOLS. The parents and guardians only of the chi'dren attending the under-men-tioned schools will meet in their replpqctlivy 6clioolrooms at 8 p.m. bn MONDAY, the 26th day of April, 1909, for the flection of School Committees of FIVE persons, as provided for under No 78 of the Board's by-laws : — Addison's Flat.
