ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES. IN accordance with the provisions of • : The Education Act, 1908,' it is .lti-eby publicly notified that JUeciing.of Householders will be held in each pf the School Districts within the EduKtion District of Nelson, at 8 p.m. on viONDAY, the 26th day of April, 1909, for the election of School Committees. Householders may rend, in writing, to-^he Chairman of the School Commiitee of the District in which they reside, or (in the cases where thero is no Committee) tc the- Commissioner, to be delivered before 8 p.m. on Monday, the 19th April, 1909, the names of persons being resident householders nominated by them to serve ou the School Committee for the year 1909-10. Each such nomination must be signed by -the perion nominated, and must be in the form of or to the effect of the ninth schedule of the above-named Art. Nominations may also be made at the meetings of Householders as provided for iv section 114 (1) of the Act. The meetings will he held in the respective school builldings unless otherwiso stated. In the following School Districts the Committees shall consist of FIVE re ident householders, viz., Aorere (meeting in Ferntowu .School), Capleston, Central Buller (Fern Flat), Church Hill, Cronadun, Inangahua Junction, Kaituna, Kiwi, Little Groy, Long Plain, Ngatimoti, Orinxo, Pokomro, Rockville, Tadmor, East Takaka, and Tapawera. In lhe following .chool Districts the Committees fhall consist of SI'.VEN resident householders, viz., Appleby (meeting in Apoleby School), Bainhain, B'lvhfieid, Black s Point, Brightwater (meeting in Brick School), Burnett's Face, Cape Foulwind, Charleston (meeting iv Charleston School), Collingwood, Deimiston, Dovedale, Foxhill, Granity Creek, Hope (meeting iv Hope School), Karamea, Lyell, Millerton, Motueka, Motupiko, Motupipi, Lower Moutere.
