The weather was fine when the second day's racing of the Nelsoji Jockey Club., meeting commenced, and there was a fair attendance on tho course. it is expected that ihere will be a good crowd in the afternoon. •Results so far are : — 9. Electric Handicap, of 35 sots.; second 5 soys. from the stake. Four furlongs. Nomination IOs; acceptance 15_, Purakau (F. Langton) 1 Bridesmaid (S. Rice) 2 Curator (J. Tapp) 3 Vinco and Bracken were scratched, and the otlier starters were Lucrci.us, Ora Pincent, and Balmy Breeze. On: Pincent carried 01b. over; Balmy Breeze 71bs over; and Bridesmaid 141bs over.
