ANNUAL MEETIfta OF DELEGATES.,
There was a good attendaaice at thei annual meeting of the Nelson Cribbage Association held • last night.- Mr C. Lamb was in tho chair.
T_(6 officers elected were : — chairman, Mr Lamb; deputy-chairman. Mr Stallard : secretary and treasurer, Mr G. J. Batchelor ; committee, Messrs Sherwood, Davies, Stihs, Oakley,. Bray, Johnston, Milner, and Schwa.s; match recorder, Mr Sherwood. Resolved, that any winning team failing to send to the match recorder the result of the match won by it, within three days, be fined one shilling. Resolved, that no payer be allowed to play for more than one team. Resolved, that ih the event of a team being short of players for one table, it shall forfeit the games that should havo been played at that table. ln ehe event of a complete forfeit (i.e., by a whole team failing to turn up) tin team present shall score a 14 to 11 win.
Resclved, that Mr Stallard be heartily thanked for the free use of his room for meetings. The Rt-chabites nnd the Press and Post and Telegraph have failed to enter teams this season. The Railway employees have entered a team, making nine team;, entered, lea vir g room for or.c more team. A vote of thanks was accorded to the Chairman.
