Thomas M.A., of Leestou circuit, and sym pathy with his widow, hi.s son, thi Rev. T. G. Thomas, 8.A., (a membei of the Conference), and other mem bers of the deceased's family. Revised figures relating to the Methodist Foreign Mission were read by the Rev. G. N. Buttle, .showing that tho total amount received during the year was £2912, including a donation of £730 towards the boat fund, showing an increase compared with tho previous year of £742. It wasdecided to discontinue tho Foreign Missionary report, and to. greatly enlarge and amplify the Home Mission annual report. The Rcvf. J. W. Burton and W. R. Poole (Fiji) were ap pointed as Foreign Mission deputations to New Zealand during the year, and it was resolved to request that the Rev. J. G. Whoon, ono r,f the General Secretaries, bo the deputation in the following year. The observance of Temperance Sunday was fixed for the last Sun.l-.iy November. It was reported by the Rev. S.
