Town Clerk's Office, 6ht March, 1909. rpENDERS will be received at the A abov« Office until FRIDAY, 12th March, 1909, at 3 p.m., for Debentures, with Coupons attached, to the amount of FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS (£5500), being a Special Loan for the completion of the Drainage Scheme, issued under the authority of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908." Eacli Debenture will be for the s-uin of One Hundred Pounds, repayable on the Ist April, 1929, and hearing interest at the rate of Four-and-a-half per centum per annum, payable half-yearly. . The security offered for the Loan is a Special Rate of One Penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Nelson. Each tender must be for one or more Debentures, stating number of Debentures, and price offered for each Debenture, and must be marked on the outside "Tender for Debentures."
