BRITISH REPRESENTATIONS. [Piie3t Association. — Copyhight] , LONDON, Wednesday. The Chambers of Commerce resolved that the proposed French duties would be prejudicial, and that Government action was desirable. They also favoured the negotiations of an Anglo-French treaty of commerce, based on equality of treatment.
