The weather promises a fine opening for the Trent-ham meeting. There are in camp 45 officers, 300 non-com-missionod officers and men, and 181 members of rifle clubs. Two hundred tents have been erected for the competitors, and nine marquees. This S in addition to the accommodation occupied by members of vhe Permanent Artillery, who are acting as markers, etc. Camp arrangements this year are very excellent, and competitors have shown their appreciation of this fact by nearly all being accommodated under canvas, instead of numbers being located in farm houses, as in former
