WRECK OF THE CLAN RANALD.
THE MARINE INQUIRY. A NEGATIVE RESULT. -[Pbess Association.— Coptbiohi] (Received 10.45 a.m.) ADELAIDE, WedneKUiy. The marine inquiry into the wreck of the Clan Ranald failed to elicit any evidence to clearly account for the sudden careening of tho vessel. Tbo cargo had been properly stowed, and the vessel was well found. The Court decided that there was no ground for laying charges against the surviving officers, and no evidence to show that tho deceased officers on watch had noglected their duty.
