STRIKERS FINED AT HASTINGS.
[United Pkess Association.] HASTINGS, Friday. At the Magistrate's Court at Hastings to-day 17 men were charged on the information of the Inspector of Awards that being employed at Thomas Borthwick anH Sons' freezing works at Pakipaki, , and being bound by the Hawke's Bay i freezing works at Pakipnki, and being j bound by the Hawke's " Bay freezing | works award, t?ey did no on strike on ! January 13th. Each of them was fined i £1, with costs. Three others, who did not appear, were similarly fined.
