E. .1. Searl, who was yesterday convicted of forgery, was further remanded for sentence till next Wednesday, the probation officer to report in tho meantime. Joseph Dilic.'i, iMas Dante, was convicted of stealing a bicycle, and sentenced to 18 months' hard labour. John Fechugin and Stephen Nichelsen, young men, pleßded not guilty to a charge oi assaulting .1 Chinaman in Wellington. The ca.w was not concluded when the Court rose.
