CELEBRATIONS ELSEWHERE.
' Christchurch: A r olunteer parade and opening of a military bazaar. Oamaru: School children assembled, saluted the flag, and received medals. Dunedin: Volunteer and cadet, parrade. muster of school children to receive medals and salute the flag. Greymouth: Tho school children assombled, saluted the flag, un-1 received medals and bags of sweets. Napier: The school children saluted the flag, were addressed by Mr Justice Chapman and Colonel Davis, snd received medals, and Volunteers and cadets paraded. Blenheim: The school children saluted the flag and received tho'r medals. An excursion took place to Ship's Cove, where it is proposed to erect a memorial to Captain Cook.
