The Supreme Court sessions opened this morning before Mr Justice Denniston, who congratulated the district upon its remarkable freedom from serious crime. There are only two criminal cases, neither of a serious nature. Lewis Morrell, aged 16, was convicted and discharged on a charge of forgery at Eltham.
