AFTERNOON PROCEEDINGS.
PARADE OF VOLUNTEERS.
This afternoon a parade of all Volunjser corps is being held at Trafalgar Park. During tho afternoon the handsome shield presented by the H Battery Old Members' Association was to be handed to Lieut.-Colonel Joyce, and by him to Captain Madigan. The presentation was to be mado by th'e 1 President of the Association, exCaptain Maginnity. [United Press Association.] TIMARU, Friday. Dominion Day was celebrated at the Timaru Schools this afternoon, when the children were addressed by the head teacher and the Chairman of tho School Committee. The medals were distributed.
