UNIFORM SCHOOL BOOKS.

OPPOSED BY THE OTAGO BOARD. [United Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Wednesday. The Otago Education Board has unanimously resolved that this Board heartily approves of the actioii of Ministry of Education in resisting the amendment in the new Bill in the direction of insisting on uniform school books, and trusts that the members of Parliament representing Otago will not jeopardise the passage of the Bill by supporting such an unnecessary and undesirable alteration.
