NELSON BULB SHOW.

TO BE HELD TO-MORROW. The first bulb show in connection with tho Nelson Horticultural Society will be held in the Drill Hall to-mor-row, and it is anticipated that tho exhibition will bo very successful. Members and non-members aro asked to give their assistance towards making the Socioty's initial bulb show a sue cess. Entries close at tho Drill Hall at 9 o clock to-night, and all exhibits must be at the hall by 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. Table decorations must be completed by 10.30 a.m. tomorrow. In addition to the scheduled classes, additional prizes have been added.-! j Tor the 24 best violets (one variety-) a prize of 10s, by Mr W. Besley: and for decorated baskets by children un, der 15, prizes by Miss Fleming The exhibits will be jundged by Mr G. A. Chapman of the Hutt, a wellknown grower of narcissi. Dr. Perry, of Wellington, and Messrs Gibbons and Co., also of Wellington, will exhibit collections, and probably there will be other collue- I tions from Wellington growers. There are eleven entries for the decorated tables. These will be judged by Mrs Allan (Nelson), Mrs Kirk (Petone), and Miss Huddlestone (Nelson). Great interest is being taken in the buttonhole classes, and it is stated :hat thero will be 50 or GO butto?iloles from the children attending the lampden-street School. The show will be open to the public 'rom 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. toaorrow. Members tickets will be prourable at the Hall to-night and toaorrow.
