She was insured. SYDNEY, Monday. Tne steamer Perth reports that she saw rockets and' signals of distress off the Tasmanian coast, at midnight on -Friday. Shebore down and found the steamer Karori .with a broken shaft. The Perth stood- by till Saturday night, and transhipped the mails of the Karori. f ' The engineers effected repairs, and the j Karori prooeded to Sydney under . easy 1 steam. _ j
