[United Peess Association.] DANNEVIRKE, Wednesday. A waggoner, named Telford, while driving on the Dannevirke-Coast road, I met wTth an exciting accident. He was I met on the hill by a motor car about 12 miles from Dannevirke, and the j horses took fright and dragged the loaded waggon over the roadside. It rolled about 300 feet. The horses were killed and the waggon smashed up, but the man escaped with bruises. NAPIER, Wednesday. At the inquest on the body of Maurice Langley, who was found drowned near the breakwater this morning, a verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. William Wallace, a married man, aged 28, was injured by a fall of earth while employed in excavating at Wadestown yesterday. He died in the hospital this afternoo.n
