A woman,' on being fined for drunkenness and • fighting at New Tork, confessed that it was she who had complained to Oon- - steble Kane that Signor Caruso had an-. noved her in the Gardens. She did not »ppear at the. Police Court, and' was fined/on the testimony of Constable K__. l Signor Caruso, on hearing that his old enemy had been .fined, exdaimed, "Now my'vindication is complete. ■■
