THE PERIL OF DUNEDIN.
DUNEDIN, Monday. In view of the Christchurch fire the Dunedin Fire Board is urging on the City Council the construction of a reticulation area in Cumberland-street to the north of Rattray-street. Mr Uay, Chairman of the Board, says there is absolutely no water supply whatever in Cumberland-street to the north of Jettystreet. _____
