HOW THE DISASTER OCCURRED. (Received 10 50 am) PERTH, Monday. The steamer Windsor, which is stranded, ran on a reef at 10 o'clock on Snnday night. The propeller evidently struck the reef or the tail shaft broke, and a hole was pierced in the bottom of the vessel under the engine room, vhich was flooded The crew assembled on deck, and the Chinese uere much terrified. Owing to the list of the ship it was difficult to get the boats away While awaiting daylight heavy seas broke over the vessel . '"There is no further news as to whether those who remained on the ship had been landed
