A canvass has been going on throughout the middle University district for funds for a gymnasium and social room for the Victoria College. The development of the gymnasium club has teen very considerable, and the loom is badly needed. A deputation waited on the Minister of Education to ask for a Government subsidy. ADVICE TO MOTHEHS. Children are often troubled with woj^jps, of which they are two kinds— the taenia, or "tape worm," ascarides, or small "seat worm,' 'and the teres, or "round worm." These are not the cause of disease, but simply the effect of a bad condition of the body. There is nothing more tedious or troublesome to parents, whose children are thus afflicted, and which, despite the use of worm cakes, candies, and powders, still infest the bodj. Obtain a bottle ot Impey's May Apple from your chemist, and use according to the directions there given, and you will be gratified with the result. Worms exist in a healthy child, and the use of Irapey's May Apple makes the delicate child healthy, happy, and strong. If unable to obtain Impey's May Apple where you live, it will be sent post free for 2s 6d by the wholesale agents, Sharland and Co., Limited, Wellington. — : Cock and Co., local agents.*
