A BENDIGO TRAGEDY.
WIFE MDBDEB AND ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. (Press Association. — Copyright.) (Received 10.43 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Monday. An old man at Bendigo, named Manning, murdered his- wife by cutting her throat, and then he cut his own throatybut not seriously. He had suffered from hallucinations. He got his wife to accompany him to a hole where he declared that he had buried treaj sure. He then killed he ron the spot.
