NELSON CLUB.
On the Nelson Green on Saturday afternoon a match, "Stay-at-Homes" v. "Wanderers," was played, the latter consisting of players who recently visited Wellington. Owing to several of the "Wanderers" being otherwise engaged, anly two rinks could be played. The "Stay-at-Homes" won on both rinks, the scores and players being as follows: — vVilson, Baigent, Littlejohn, Munro (s), 16. R. Jackson, Rout, Angus, Naldor (s) 13. Brown, B. Tasker, Allen, Dickson (s), 28. Houlker, Burnes, Watt, Sharp (s), 15. The nest "Feathers" match will be Rout's rink (holders) v. Baigent's rink. Mesdames Angus and Clutten provided the afternoon tea on the last two Saturdays.
