ANNUAL MEETING.

Those responsible for the carrying out of the N.A.S.C. annual meeting at the Port on Saturday should feel well repaid for their efforts. The weather was fine, the sport good, and a big crowd to witness it. Some of the finishes were very exciting, and the events were got off "with commendable promptitude The All Schools Championship for Mr Hogg's trophy was won by Robertson, with Spear second and Scully third. The polo match, Town v. fort, for Mr F. Harford's silver badges was an interesting event, and one keenly enjoyed by the spectators. Al the otocia ls of the club devoted their best efforts to ensure a succesful meeting, and the well-deserved support accorded by tne public is an evidence that this healthy exercise isbecoming increasingly popu'ar.
