NARROW ESCAPE FROM DROWNING.
A PLUCKY RESCUE. [Umi3D Pbess Association.] BLENHEIM, Thursday. A scEoolboy, a eon of Mr H. F. Hall, narrowly escaped death by drowning yesterday afternoon. It is supposed that the boy was climbing along a gas pipe undrneath the Omaka bridge, near the school, when he fell into deep water, in midstream. A lad named Sheridan, while passing, saw an object in the water, and finding it the body of a boy, plunged in and effcted a rescue. The boy had been under twice. He is now fully recovered*.
