MOISTURE IN BUTTER.
ANALYSES TO BE MADE. [United Pkess Association.] WELLINGTON, Wednes. The Chief Dairy Commissioner informed a "Post" reporter that a largo number of samples of butter would be taken during the . coming season and analysed by the Department: A special analyst wiil be stationed at New Plymouth to carry but the analysis under the. direction of the Chief Chemist. This move has been taken as, a result of an analysis of a number of samples of butter which were found to contain an excess of moisture over the limit allowed by the British market, namely 16 per cent. _
