POLLARD'S JUVENILE OPERA COMPANY.
•'HIS HIGHNESS THE BEY." Last evening the Pollard Juvenile Opera Company brought its season in Nelson to a close, playing the musciaj comedy, "His Highness the Bey." There' was another crowded house, extra seating accommodation having to be provided upstairs and downstairs. The largo audience was kept highly amused and entertained the whole evening, the magnificent dressing, the picturesque posing, the unique and ' graceful dancing,, the songs and the 1 wit combining to make up an entertainment which was most pleasurable. In the dialogue there was occasional ' evidence that the parts were not quite 1 so well known as those of "Bluebell in Fairyland," but it must be remembered 1 , that* the comedy has been rehearsed ; but a short time. With tho exception : mentioned, the cast of characters was splendidly maintained throughout. The ' heaviest work fell ou Bert Nicholson, ' who scored a complete success, and the othor principals are to be complimented on their general good work.
