SHOOTING AT A WIFE.
A SUMNER E'fiSODB. A COMMITTAL FOR TRIAL. [United Press Association.] CHiifSTCHURCH, Tuesday. A man named L. Mufci'e MS charged at the S.M. Court to-day With firing a gun at his wife with hitfcnt to do bodily harm. It apepared that Moore had been chunk, and in that condition quarrelled with his wife. He assaulted her and chased iler into a paddock behind his house at Sumn€r and fired a gun at her. He denied any intention to injure the woman. Mr Bishop, S.M., committed the accused for trial. Bail was allowed, accused in £200 and two sureties of £200 ra^h. ,
