MELBOURNE, Saturday. Tht Warrnambool to Melbourne race resulted as follows : Dobie, Victoria, 42mins., 1; Oaks, Victoria, 80mins., 2; Willis, Victoria, 60mins., 3. Two hundred and thirty riders started, constituting a world's record. The race was won t>y about a quarter of a mile.

Oaks has only one arm. Larcombe, who rode unpaced from Colac, had a puncture near Geelong, causing him a delay of ten minutes. A passing cyclist lent him a wheel. It is reported that the tack fiend was again in evidence, causing disaster to some riders.
