SUDDEN DEATHS.
CHHISTCHURCH, Thurs. At the inquest touching the death o»' Mr George Smith, commercial traveller, at the Christchurch railway station platform yesteiday, a verdict" was re turned that death was due to syncope DUNEDIN, Thursday. This morning James Banks Etheiidge was found dead in his bed. He went to I bed last night in his usual state of health, and at 5 o'clock this morning he spoke to his wife. At a late hour he was found dead. Deceased was 60 years of age, and heart disease is believed to be the cause of death.
