THE WANGAPEKA SETTLEMENT.

BALLOT I..OR.SECTIONS. This morning the sixteen sections of the Wangapeka settlement were ballotted for at the Land Office. The ballot was conducted by Mr F. W. Flanagan, Commissioner of Crown Lands, in the 1 presence of between 40 and 50 interI csted persons. Messrs P. B. Adams and Fergusson ware elected by Uie applicants as scrutineers.
