At the Magistrates Court td^dav,' Mafgiret Andrews' was convicted/ of selling liquor in a no-license district; She' .was fined $10 ; and costs.. / TJie: : case^ 'was the result of a : p'olioe raid recently made', when a quantrty of concealed liquor v.as seized. The defence was that the liiuor was hidden.,by the defendant's h.isband ' for his private use.
