THE SUPPOSED WRECK OF THE WOOLLAHRA.
A RUMOUR WITHOUT PROOF. [United Pbess Association.] DARGAVILLE, Tuesday, nothing is known here with reference to the reported wreck of the barque Woollahra, and it is believed to be a. canard. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The report of the barque. Woollahra being ashore on the West Coast came through Mr George Niccol, shipowner, who received his information by telecvam from the master of one of tha steimsrs running in the locality. The Marine Department says the information in the report is incorrect, and that evidently some blunder was made in the first message.
