SMOTHERED WHILE IN A BIT. Oar Stanley Brook correspoLdenl On Thursday Jnst an inquest was held at BUnley Brook by Mr Thos. Griffith J.P., and a jury consisting of Mew John EatwelL (foreman), R. J. foi glase, W. Bigga, 1. T\ Kelhng, W fenemor, and T. J. Barker, touching the death of Charles Thomas Mansill, aeed 25 The deceased was miased from bia horns on -Tuesday evening, and after a -diligent search he was found fece downward Bmotherea among the - sheaves in a shed. Ho was subject to epileptic fits since H years of age. alhe deoeaW was employed in the Telegraph Department for eight years in Wellington. Besigrung this, for the oast three yeara he had been employed on the farm of his uncle, Mr J. Thorn. ."The following verdict was recoried:— '" "That the deceased died by anffocation in a fit." Our sympathies are witn the bereaved parents, who were on the Kelson train on the way 'to this district on a holiday tour when, their late Bon wa3 f oand dead. -
