THE TARANAKI SEAT. [United Pbess Association.] NF.W PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. At a meeting of the Political Reform League held to-night, Mr H. Ok<y was selected to contest the Taranaki seat rendered vacnnt by the death of Mr E. M. Smith. No selection of a Government candidate has yet been made. Three likely starters are in the field. ' Messra W. G. Malone, C. BellrinjErer, and E. Dcckriil, the Mayor of New Plymouth. _ A rumour is current that a sin of the late member is to be requested to offer himsell*.
