COURT CASES.
[United Peess Association.] AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Charles Wilson, a motorman, was committed for trial to-day on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the death of Charles Huxlable, who was injured by a tram car. John Lewis, charged with stealing a ring, valued at £65, from Goldwater, a pawnbroker, by substituting a cheap ring with a glass for a diamond, was committed for sentence. FEILDLNG, Wednesday. Christopher Ryan was to-day committed for trial on a charge of breaking into and entering the premises of A. D. Scott, at Halcombe, on Aryil Ist, while the occupier was absent at his father's funeral.
