ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-MOR-ROW'S POLLING.
Polling for the election of a Mayor and Councillors for the City of JSelson \ will take place to-morrow. The hours during which votes may be recorded are from 9 in the morning till 7 in the I evening. Wheu recording his vote, the voter is to mark a cross in the square on the voting paper set opposite to the name or names of the candidate or candidates for whom he desires to vote. But section 24 of the Local Elections Act, 1904, provides that no voting paper shall be rejected as informal that clearly indicates the candidate or candidates for whom the voter intended to vote, whether such indication is made by a cross as directed or by striking out the uamo or names of the candidate or candidates for whom the voter did not intend to vote. The list of polling places and the names of tbe candidates appear in our advertising columns.
