THE SUSPECTED CASE ON H.M.S. POWERFUL.

LYTTELTON, Tuesday. It has transpired that the suspected case on H.M.S. Powerful is not bubon : c plague. Dr Mason, Chief Health Officer, visited the ship this morning, and the pitient was removed to Quail Island, and tbe ship will be released frcm quarantine immediately. The canteen has been fumigated.
