ENGLAND AND ITALY.
THE ROYAL MEETING. ROME, Friday. The King of Italy entertained the King and Queen at luncheon on board the Italian Royal Yacht. Signor Tittoni, the Italian Foreign Minister, and Sir A. H. Hardinge, the British Ambassador, issued a communique stating that the. pri vate manner of the meeting between King Edward and King Emmanuel afforded fresh proof of the personal sentiments and affection uniting them. The meeting was not actuated by political aims, yet it would produce the best effect on the intimately cordial relations: between Britain and Italy. The interview was a promise and a guarantee of the peace of the whole world.
