Mclntyre, the absconding ex-director of the Exhibition, has decided, not to proceed with the case, and the warrant will be withdrawn. The police are still makng investigations, but. it Is believed that the same course will be putsued. The Australian Commissioners have received an official notification, .that, owing to certain irregularities on the part .- of the Superintendent of Awards at the Exhibition, it has been decided to cancel all awards made in connection with wines and spirits, -and to have them rejudged It is stated -that it has been ; decided to withdraw the Australian exhibits of wines and spirits, and not to allow them to be re-judged.
