T;wo sisters, found to be suffering from leprosy, have been isolated. : A CASE OF ANTHRAX. TRACED TO NEW ZEALAND ' { HIDES. FROM NEWTIYMOUTH. ' MELBOURNE, Thursday. A man suffering from anthrax has been admitted to the hospital. The Chairman' of the Board of Health states that careful investigation shows that last week a firm of stock and station agents imported a consignment of hides from New Zealand. They were shipped in a coastal steamer at New i Plymouth, and afterwards placed • aboard the Monbwai. Only one bundle 'of hides had been handled, in Mel- \ bourne, and from this the man appears , : to: have contracted the disease.
