WELLINGTON, Tuesday. •Two 'stowaways by the steamer Paparoa were handed over to the police on arrival of the vessel at Wellington yesterday. An information against a young woman was withdrawn as it was explained that she had been taken on -board the steamer at Hobart. The other offender, a young man, was fined £4 10s in default a month's imprisonment.. During the trip of the Paparoa from London on 9th April an officer's steward, named J. Goldsworthy, died at sea. The body was taken to tht hospital.
