MORE HONOUR TO THE BRAVE.
[Unjteb Peess Association.—Copieiqht.] (Received 10.5 a.m.) PERTH, Tuesday. The brave diver Hughes, who rescued the miner Verischetti from the flooded mine, has been entertained at a Mayoral reception. There w^s much enthusiasm. The Italian Consul, on behalf of Verischetti, thanked all concerned for the rescue.
